Sara E. Espinoza 68, of Lubbock formerly of Post passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at her residence. A memorial service will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, August 28, 2026 at Hudman Funeral Home. Cremation will follow under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home.

Sara was born September 21, 1957 in Eagle Pass, TX to the late Rumaldo and Sophia (Rivas) Esparza. She married David Espinoza in July of 1976 in Eagle Pass. Sara was a loving, caring selfless woman who enjoyed being surrounded by family. She loved fiercely and had a unique way to always make you feel like the "favorite". Sara enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, watching movies and tending to her plants. She was an amazing cook and had a open door for everyone.

She is survived by her husband David Espinoza of Lubbock; son David Espinoza, Jr. of Post; daughter Jennie Espinoza and Roland of Lubbock; son Andrew Espinoza and Brenda of Bronx, NY; brother Efrain Esparza of Post and grandchildren Greg, Bubba, Elise, Kane, Isabella, Julissa, Alexandra and Katarina.

Sara was preceded in death by her parents, son Orlando Espinoza, granddaughter Abigail, brothers Rumaldo Esparza, Jr., David Esparza, Rogelio Esparza, Romelio Esparza, Moses Esparza, Oscar Esparza, Ruben Esparza and sister Alicia Esparza.
