Sharon Sue SoRelle was born on July 22 , 1951 to Purvis and Tommy Joyce SoRelle of Jayton, Texas. As a child, Sharon loved putting Freddy Fendor and Conway Twitty on the stereo and dancing around the living room with her family.

Upon graduation from Jayton High School, Sharon moved to Levelland where she attended South Plains College with dreams of becoming a kindergarten teacher.  After College, Sharon met the love of her life, John Kocurek while working at the local Dairy Queen; It was love at first sight. They married in 1979 and began building a marriage that would last 37 years. Sharon worked for 30+ years as the Secretary for Strawn Transport until she retired in 2013.

Sharon's greatest pride and joy in life was her family. She was happiest when her house was full of laughter, love, and fellowship with her kids, siblings, grandkids, nieces, nephews, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John, parents, Purvis and Tommy Joyce, nephew Andy, and Aunt Nadine and Uncle Cliff.

Left behind to cherish a lifetime of memories are her children Lisa Morrow (Will) of Post, Micheal Kocurek (Michelle) of Albuquerque, brother Tom SoRelle (Kathy) of Dallas, sister Melodie (Kelly) of Driftwood, and nephew Jeffrey (Elizabeth) of San Angelo, honorary daughters Jodie and Samantha, nieces Leah (Noah), Lauren, Abbey, and numerous friends.

The lights of her life were her 7 grandchildren:  Zachery (Mark), Lindsey (Brandon), Alissa (Brandon), Benjamin, Alex, Brianna, Addison, Jacob, Dyson, Harli and 4 great grandkids: Stella, Baylor, Rylan, and Paxton.

The family would like to thank all the Nurses and Doctors in the Palliative Care Unit at Covenant Medical Center who cared for her so well.
