Shirley Ruth Doggett 78, of Lubbock passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025 at University Medical Center in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Hudman Funeral Home Chapel with Travis Sweet officiating. Interment will follow at Terrace Cemetery.  A visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 P. M. On Tuesday, March 4, 2025 and Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at the funeral home. Shirley was born January 14, 1947 in Post to James and Ruth Lorine (Crider) Doggett. She is survived by her sons Christopher Young of Florida, Jonathan Young of Texas, Nicholas Young of Texas; brothers Lee Doggett of Post and Bill Doggett of Amarillo and nine grandchildren.
