Sudie Laverne Moore, 91 of Temple passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Baylor Scott & White Hospital. A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Terrace Cemetery. Interment will follow under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home. Sudie was born June 30, 1931 in Post, TX to the late Arthur D. and Ada Naomi (Thompson) Morris. She married Charles Leroy Moore, Sr. on April 15, 1950. Sudie has lived in Temple, TX since February of 2013, and lived many years in Dallas before that. Sudie is survived by her son Charles Moore, Jr. and wife Angie of Temple; daughters Carolyn Dittle of Enid, OK., Helen Ada Stewart and husband Danny of Cedar Hill, TX., Crickett Pettigrew and husband Michael of Fort Worth, TX.; ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and twelve great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Moore, SR., daughter Susan Simmering and son William Moore.
