Graveside services for Susan Pennell, 74, of Post will be at 2 PM Monday, November 22, 2021 in Terrace Cemetery with Travis Sweet of the Post Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in Terrace Cemetery under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 until 7:30 PM Sunday at the funeral home.

Susan died in Lubbock, Texas on November 18, 2021. She was born in Pittsburg, Kansas on July 3, 1947. She married Joe Pat Pennell on April 2, 1971 in Post. He preceded her in death on October 8, 2020. She was member of the Church of Christ. Susan was a homemaker and also worked as a prison guard.

Survivors include two granddaughters: Sarah (Robert Diebert) Pennell of Paola, Kansas and Fallon Pennell of Gardner, Kansas, three great grandchildren: Harley Ann Cooper, Elijah Cooper and Dakota Billbe all of Gardner, Kansas and two brother-in-laws: Kenneth (Betty) Pennell of Hudson Oaks, Texas and Johnny (Vicki) Pennell of San Angelo, Texas.
