Teresa Gonzales Pena 86, known fondly as Terry, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, in Gonzales, Texas. Born on January 24, 1940, in Gonzales County, Texas to the late Joe Garza and Benita (Gonzales) Pena.

Terry contributed many years of valuable service at the Postex Cotton Mill in Post. 

Terry is survived by her beloved sister, Anita Deleon of Post and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service honoring Terry’s memory will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Hudman Funeral Home Chapel. Friends, family, and all whose lives Terry touched are invited to attend and pay their respects. Interment will follow at Terrace Cemetery under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home. A visitation will be held 7:00 P.M. Friday, August 14, 2026 at the funeral home.
