Graveside services for Wade Peppers, 83, of Post will be at 2 PM Saturday, March 19, 2022 in the Grassland Cemetery under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 until 7:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.

Wade died on March 16, 2022 at his home in Post. He was born in Alexander City, Alabama on September 5, 1938 to Hugh and Nellie (White) Peppers. He married Carol Edwards on July 18, 1958 in Post. She preceded him in death on November 4, 2020. Wade worked for the Texas Highway Department for over 30 years before retiring.

Survivors include one daughter: Karla Peppers of Post, one brother: Larry (Karen) Guy of Lubbock, two granddaughters: Kelli Torres of Post and Brandi Quinonez of Post and eight grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Travis Guy.
