William "Bernard" Pewitt passed away in Lubbock, Tx on May 6, 2024. He was born to Willam Thomas and Judy (Mann) Pewitt on December 29 1937. He later on met the love of his life Modean and they went on to marry on January 27, 1961. He worked for Jackson Brothers and later on started Pewitt & Son Welding and eventually added a machine shop. They had 4 children together and lived a
loving, happy life.
He's survived by his children Jackie Pewitt and Jamie Pewitt (Carlos), 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 more on the way and would be welcoming his first great great grandchild, and lots of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Modean Pewitt, son Delton Pewitt, daughter Twila Holly, Great Grandchildren Baby Dj Thomas and Neveah White, his sisters Katie Henderson, Francis Stuteville, Sue Nall, Doris Lambright, Janelle Fletcher, brothers Lavern Pewitt and Billy Pewitt.
